A significant occurrence has unfolded!
The International Conference on Islamic Studies, Law and Management (ISTILMA) was held successfully on 15 October 2024. Organized by Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin and Research Synergy Foundation (RSF), this conference was held virtually through the online platform. The ISTILMA brought the theme of “Sustainability Era: The Evolving Islamic Studies, Law, and Economic” with 7 tracks of multidisciplinary field of studies presented by 18 Presenters.
This conference explore the intersection of basic principles with contemporary issues of sustainability, Islamic studies, law, and economics. This conference seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to address the challenges and opportunities with field of study of Management, Digital Business, Islamic Economic, Finance, Law, Islamic Law, Social Science, and Marketing.
The conference has successfully gathered speakers, participants, scientific reviewer, session chair, and attendees from more than 12+ countries around the globe, such as Indonesia, United Kingdom, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, India, Srilanka, USA, Phillipines, Saudi Arabia, Brunei Darussalam, Nigeria, and many more.
A Seamless Hybrid Conference
The ISTILMA was arranged seamlessly with online participants. The day started by welcoming address and conference publication announcement by Master of Ceremony. While the opening of the event begin with welcoming remarks by the Conference Chair of ISTILMA, Dr. Galuh Nashrullah KMR. A Major Keynote Talk
The International Conference on Islamic Studies, Law and Management (ISTILMA) invited 4 Keynote Speakers coming from various country. The keynote speaker session was held in a plenary setting, moderated by Mrs. Santi Rahmawati as the Founder and Global Network Operation Director of the Research Synergy Foundation. The conference invited all of the online participants to hear and listen from the notable Keynote Speakers.
The first keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Yudi Fernando from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Malaysia. He brought his impactful and excellent speech regarding “Navigating Concept and Research Trends in the Halal Beauty Supply Chain”.

The online academic presentation session of the ISTILMA divided into 3 Breakout Rooms with the 1st Breakout Room as Main Room. Presenters presented their essay proudly online according on their placement. In this session, the facinating discussion went smoothly and the questions came assertively from virtual participants. After all the presenter finished with their presentation, all the presenters and attendees were directed to go to the main room for online for a short break to wait decision for the Best Presenter, Best Paper announcement, Session Chair Recognition, and Closing Speech.
Awarding Session
After all the participants were back on the main room, there was a short break as a preparation for the awarding session and the closing ceremony. Then, the MC announced the Best Presentation and the Best Paper awards. There were 3 Best Presentation awardees and 1 Best Paper awardees.
The Best Presentation category was nominated based on the professionalism, the organization of the presentation, the visual of the presentation, and the handling of the questions, based on the evaluation given by the Session Chairs throughout the presentation.
