Virtual MoU Signing – Research Synergy Foundation and Emerald Publishing East ASIA
We are delighted to announce that Research Synergy Foundation and Emerald Publishing East Asia have signed a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 11, 2024.
This event started with an introduction from Mrs. Santi Rahmawati as the founder and director of Research Synergy Foundation and Mr. William Loh from Emerald Publishing. Before the official virtual MoU signing, there were discussion concerning the publication, research, and global knowledge sharing between the members of Research Synergy Foundation and Emerald Publishing. Mr. William Loh said that based on the data collected throughout the years by Emerald Publishing East Asia, the numbers of publication from Indonesian authors are increasing and there is no sign of decreasing in the near future. This can be an opportunity for Research Synergy Foundation and Emerald Publishing East Asia to be a leader in spreading the knowledge of research integrity in Indonesia.
To add to it, Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih from Research Synergy Foundation also emphasize that increasing the research integrity in Indonesia cannot be done by Research Synergy Foundation alone. Thus, Research Synergy Foundation believes strongly in collaboration and co-creation to reflect the goals of high level of research integrity and publication for all authors who have been working hard on their researches. Mr. Irwan from Emerald Publishing East Asia adds that this type of collaboration is one of a few collaborations that Emerald has done in the past times. According to Mr. Irwan, there are not many organization like Research Synergy Foundation that pioneers in Institutional partnerships for consortia.
This ceremonial event marked the signing of the MoU, symbolizing a commitment from both parties to establish a strategic partnership to encourage RSF Members to increase their research publications and quality. During the signing, discussions revolved around future agendas, with both sides expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming activities related to research, publication, and knowledge sharing. Both parties discussed that all published works need to reflect the highest levels of research integrity.
The overarching goal of this partnership is to enhance collaborative efforts between the two institutions in promoting research development and publication initiatives in various scope and level. The virtual MoU signing signifies the start of a promising relationship that will allow both parties to combine their expertise and resources to achieve their mutual objectives.
